The interest in the intersection between the digital era and traditional Afro-descendant music runs right through the music of Kuumba, Tulum & México City based producers and multidisciplinary artist duo that explores African rhythmic roots and their cultural fusion in Latin America. Their creative process involves a rhythmic exploration through the study of percussive instruments and their rhythmic influence on the body in motion. Both of them, psychologists and humanitarian performers, expand their creative actions to different media, such as visual arts and installation, in addition to music and dance, creating a unique mix that explores the intersections of different forms of creative expression.
