Dan Bond is a singer/songwriter who delivers a nostalgic edge to contemporary music. His work incorporates a plethora of genres including the acoustic grit of folk, and the upbeat energy of pop-rock. After creating a name for himself as an acoustic one-man-band, He continues to transform his sound with each release. Dan first came to prominence in 2011 as the lead singer in duo, Music & Spies. In 2013, Music & Spies released their first EP, titled ‘In My Hands’ which soared to the top 20’s in the iTunes singer/songwriter chart. The title track won the award for best original song in the national music competition OpenMicUK. The second track, ‘Good Things Happen In The Rain’ also came highly praised by BBC6 radio presenter, Tom Robinson. Since then, Dan’s talent has not gone unnoticed, winning 2 awards in a row for best male solo artist from Cambridge 105 Radio’s NMG Awards, an event that people including Bob Harris and Sheila Ravenscroft have supported. Dan has also featured as Richer Unsigned’s artist of the week. Dan has toured extensively around the UK, sharing the stage with artists including Hayseed Dixie, Gideon Conn and Lucy Spraggan, whom he supported across the UK on her post X-Factor tour.
