Country artist Betty Roots is a singer & songwriter from Norway. Her career as Spotify artist, started in 2018. From 2018-2021, Betty made 10 singles, three of them in the spirit of Christmas, songs in English interpreted into Norwegian. In January 2022, after four years with hard work, the album «I’m Going Home» finally saw daylight. This album in English. Betty writes a lot of Norwegian songs too, so the next album might be in the mother language. March 2022 Betty made a song with the local football team, LSK, and «Byen din Lillestrøm» was released. Summer 2022 Betty won a country competition with her band in Seljord, Norway. In 2023 she started a collab with a producer in Nashville and Black Betty was released in June, with a music video directed by Paonka Radeva. Radeva and Roots continued the co-work on Country Girl, that had its release one year later, June 2024. 2024 also gave an album with country hymns and a popular Norwegian ballad called «E du Nord», which Roots interpreted into English, for the rest of the world to listen to this treasure song.
