Molly Vulpyne, better known as the guitarist and vocalist of dynamic punk rock duo Vulpynes and for recent collaborations with avant-garde punk artist Meryl Streek, is now unveiling her inaugural solo endeavor. The songs featured on her forthcoming EP were penned over the past few years and reflect a different side of Molly that didn't quite align with her previous musical projects. Tired of being pigeonholed as the "angry shouty girl," Molly sought a change of pace. She used this solo record as an opportunity to express a different side. Featuring poignant and unfiltered lyrics referencing love and the darkness of the mind, Molly's new project embraces newfound vulnerability. Intertwined with haunting harmonies and Molly's signature riffs, her songwriting maintains a distinctive edge, marking a shift towards melody over raw power. Molly's debut EP 'Amortise' is out on FOAD Musik and Scene Report records in February 2024.
