El Richie is definitely not an artist easily mistaken with others. His music has been shaped and influenced in many ways to finally come out of the mud carved as the spectacle it is today. A totally independent artist, El Richie believes that there is space to establish himself along with others alike, as some of Edinburgh’s first and finest hiphop talents. 
 Holding his first microphone on a large stage at 16, El Richie used to perform at the church he attended, along with some of his friends. Lest we forget that he actually started writing down rap verses earlier, after constantly restarting songs by legends such as Lecrae just so he could learn the lyrics. His music has an essence of professionalism and confidence. Every line is delivered with clarity and reference. Smart, witty bars leave the crowd in a wholesome awe. 
 Nevertheless, we shouldn’t forget that EL Richie won’t back down from a chance at making the audience laugh with his relatability, openness and meme-referencing antics.
