Newport News native Kerry Paige is no stranger when it comes to creating art and has a passion for performance. Kerry comes from a family of visual artists and grew up singing, dancing, acting and drawing. Leaving a memorable presence on stage that’s undeniably contagious since the age of six. He attended a performing arts high school and continued his education in the dramatic arts attending James Madison University to pursue a BA in Theatre. After college, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue his dreams; with only $1,000 to his name he quickly hit the ground running to stay by making connections and finding valuable performance opportunities. Since moving to the west coast he’s been featured on the Disney Channel, a national tour, numerous high profile music videos, big TV and film productions. Although he travels all over the place now, he still has a lot of love for his home state of VA and has a lot of musical influence from his area; artists such as Chris Brown, Pharrell, Missy Elliot, and Timbaland. This project “Next to the Lava Lamp” has been brewing for quite some time. With deep RnB roots and a love for lava lamps, Kerry knew exactly what theme he wanted for his musical debut; something nostalgic, but brand new at the same time. His close connection to lava lamps started young as he has always had one in his room growing up from childhood to adulthood. No matter where he goes, that seems to always be a constant. He’s now ready to give you the Kerry Paige experience.
