He is a multi-instrumentalist, record producer, audio engineer, independent record label executive, vocalist, writer, self-proclaimed essayist, stylist, and designer born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. His influences stretch far and wide from grunge and punk pros like Nirvana, The Melvins, and Alice In Chains to Hip-Hop legends like MF DOOM to Kanye West and Young Thug. Other artists like Toro y Moi, Lucki, Black Sabbath, Captain Beefheart, Rick James, Sade, Daft Punk, Electric Wizard, and Frank Ocean are all cited as major influences on his sound. A deep passion for poetry as a youth coupled with an emerging interest in bass and guitar around the age of 10 gave birth to Yves+mvrc+mvrc's ability to weave his emotions and thoughts seamlessly into songs that stretch and pull on the idea of genre. Citing Kurt Cobain as a huge personal influence, Yves+svint+mvrc is able to cover a vast range of topics and feelings both lyrically and sonically with ease. With his professional training in audio engineering, he has been able to create a sound that is indisputably his own. In his words: "I want to be known as a great artist.
