While perfectly executing an under water type sound mixed with that wavy retro sound we have all come to know and love, Cromer is a new and upcoming Hip-Hop and R&B artist emerging from Tucson, Arizona. 
 Born in 1997 in Phoenix, Arizona as Austin Lee Cromer, Cromer moved to Tucson at the age of eight and started singing. Taking inspiration from Fleetwood Mac, the Beatles, Pink Floyd and many other bands his father would play for him. He soon discovered Eminem, Jay-Z, and Kendrick Lamar and taught himself to Rap around the age of twelve. 
 His album My Angels Sin Vol. 1 released in June 2019 centers around the harsh realities of the streets, addiction, and love. The Bonus track “Wasted” clearly emphasizes how lonely you could feel caught in the middle of addiction while chasing something you know you can’t have. 
 However, judging by his latest releases, Cromer’s new project is expected to have you feel like you’ve been thrown back in time and are now stuck in the 80s. With realistic writing, mind blowing production, and emotional content, Cromer is rising Fast.
