D-MAD DEVIL, the brainchild of vocalist/songwriter Daichi hailing from Osaka, Japan, is deeply rooted in beloved early 2010s metalcore and post-hardcore. Since 2018, Daichi has been writing tracks characterized by intense riffs, catchy choruses, and modern influences. While not following the traditional band format, Daichi and his co-writers keep full-band sounds in their music. In 2019, Daichi began working with Christian Grey, vocalist of Villain of the Story. His first standalone single, Giving It Everything (feat. Christian Grey), marked Daichi's official entry into the heavy music scene. After the release of the single, Daichi and his co-writer embarked on working on his debut EP, One With the Darkness, released in June 2021. Towards the end of 2022, Daichi unveiled a new chapter with the release of the single Wither, which garnered widespread acclaim and earned a spot on the prominent metal playlist, All New Metal. In 2023, Daichi dropped the single Who I Am (feat. Christian Grey) in conjunction with signing a record deal with Theoria Records.
