M.A.B. is a rapper, engineer, producer, and graphic designer originally from D.C. who now calls Chicago home. He first discovered his passion for music at a young age and was influenced by the rich sounds of the East Coast rap scene. After moving to Chicago, M.A.B. began to take his music more seriously and taught himself how to engineer and produce his own tracks. In addition to creating music, M.A.B. also delved into graphic design to make his own album art and promotional materials. This allowed him to have more creative control over his brand and image. M.A.B.'s style is characterized by introspective and personal lyrics, often focusing on his own experiences as a Black & Hispanic man coming of age in America. M.A.B.'s music has earned him a dedicated fanbase and recognition in the local Chicago scene. He's performed at various venues and events around the city, including opening for national acts. M.A.B. is also a fixture in the community, collaborating with local artists and activists to organize events and raise awareness of social issues.
