He has stated that he draws inspiration from the likes of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, James Dean, Al Green, Marvin Gaye, and in the realms of hip hop culture, DMX, KRS one, Mos Def, J. Dilla, Mobb Deep, A tribe called Quest, Wu-Tang, THE WEEKND and many more. Milo's Unique sound is on a different wave than that of his colleagues and despite his Upbeat and vibey tracks his lyrics contain messages and often dark content.
