DJ King 504 went on to craft his career developing himself as a songwriter and musician releasing 3 mixtapes entitled New New Orleans, Bitch I Rap, and Da Turntest DJ in the World . He also established himself amongst many greats including Juvenile, Waka Flocka Flame, and Kidd Kidd. After 7 long years, the persona of Young God Daddy was born. Some may say Young God Daddy is an alter-ego; DJ King would say YGD is just him. Shirtless, draped in a robe, decked in jewelry, and his favorite slippers, DJ King is comfortable. Both in style and in his own skin. The Young God Daddy movement is characterized by what DJ King describes as a “joyful, street sound” developed by producers Pnom and Big Homie. This sound can be heard on the single entitled “Young God Daddy”. DJ King continues to ride the wave he has created by developing a unique sound, which will be showcased in the late 2018 release of his debut album, “Da Daddy.”
