As the legend goes, Lousy Lover was found in the early 90’s inside of a hay basket somewhere in the swamps of South Florida. He was found alone, naked and with nothing but a “Frankie Knuckles - Welcome To The Real World” vinyl to provide him cover from the environment. Not much is known of where lousy Lover came from but we do know he grew up under the wing of “Sweet Mike” a local pusherman and pitbull breeder from Little Havana and his wife “Honey Green Tea” a DJ from Barranquilla, Colombia, who’s main gig was dancing at Booby Trap On The River while Lousy Lover was working the block. Growing up on the corner of Flagler Street and 7th avenue in Little Havana he was able to absorb all the madness and chaos his surroundings provided and that deeply inspired & drove him to start one of Miami’s most prolific House Music Labels, Lisa's Kickback, with his crew. Some say Lousy Lover is Andy Warhol's illegitimate son others say he could have played Point Guard for the Miami Heat in 2006, what we do know is that he came to party and he’s here to stay.
