Lafayette, Louisiana native Travonte Travon Sam better known as Tayway embodies the hustle and grit of growing up and navigating the merky waters of the south. The 24 year old born and raised on the Northside of Lafayette excelled at an early age putting words together and telling stories through music and what started as cousins recording rap songs in a homemade studio closet evolved into a passion for the art of songwriting and lyricism. Tayway puts these passions on full display in his most recent work “Cole” and highly recommended mixtape “Cause without thought” he is known for his word play, punchlines, melodic flows, delivery, and most notably ability to dissect a beat into art.
