Songwriter, Rapper (1995-) Raydale Shamaine Bonivel Jr, who performs as Raydale Shamaine, was born in Grand Rapids, MI, on January 23, 1995. After writing poetry and short stories as a youth, he geared his lyrics towards his rough upbringing and introspective views on life surrounding him. He rapped under the name Ray Deezy, releasing a few singles that gained him notoriety in his hometown creating a buzz that allowed him to gain confidence in pursuing it further. In 2013, Shamaine’s studio recorded EP, Raydale Shamaine EP, received attention from hometown favorites such as Lady Ace Boogie, J Rob, Bedrock and more. His electrifying lyrics and passion paved way for him to perform on some of Michigan’s biggest and most popular platforms. Those including Billy’s Lounge, Founders Brewery and Mulligan’s Pub. In early 2019, his undeniable talent caught the attention of one of battle raps biggest stars, Tsu Surf. After winning a competitive online challenge created by the battle rap sensation, Raydale Shamaine gained him a co-sign that would a boost his career. Raydale Shamaine went onto perform along side of Steven Malcolm during an annual showcase in his hometown. Shortly after, he joined The 5 Tour sponsored by with one of California’s upcoming artist, Shamar Alef, making an introduction in Chicago, Illinois. During the conclusion of such tour, Raydale Shamaine’s consistency and energy landed him an opportunity to perform with one of hip hop’s biggest stars, Kirko Bangz.
