Alejandro Kauderer's compositions are distinguished by their simplicity, forcefulness and for evoking a narrative through their design and musicality. Attributes that led him to have a prolific career in the cinematographic and performative universe.
Alejandro collaborated with New Order, Gustavo Santaolalla, Tomás García, Sergio Trujillo, Gastón Duprat, Mariano Cohn, Juan Campanella and has been part of a creative societé for more than a decade with Ignacio Gabriel.
Alejandro was born in 1980, in Buenos Aires. He completed his studies at Berklee College of Music, Boston. In 2008 together with Christian Ale he formed AK47 electronic music duo that led them to tour on the international scene playing at the Winter Music Conference Miami 2010, they made an official remix for Bad Lieutenant (ex New Order) and opened the New Order show in Buenos Aires in 2011. In 2011 Gustavo Santaolalla invited Alejandro to become musical director of Arrabal, a Bajofondo musical. Arrabal premiered at the Panasonic Theater in Toronto, in 2014 and at Harvard University in 2017. In 2017 Alejandro created Música para un espacio en demolición, a site-specific work that was active in Buenos Aires.
Alejandro currently lives upstate Buenos Aires where he has his experimentation studio, focused, together with Ignacio Gabriel in the musical production of the TV series El Encargado & NADA, starring Luis Brandoni and Robert de Niro.
