Ace P is a hip-hop producer from Minneapolis, MN, staking his claim on the scene through dusty drum breaks and sample-based loops. He grew up playing the drums and keys, but his heart ultimately pulled him towards the MPC. The “dark art” of sampling always had an appeal. This grew as he started to connect the dots between his father’s favorite songs from the '60s/'70s, which oftentimes were sampled by his own favorite producers. Ace’s debut album, Things I Can’t Speak About, was released in 2023 and features a roster of talented Twin Cities artists.
