From South St. Petersburg, FL, independent artist Tre Butler is discovering a way to change the perspective and narrative of artists from this generation. The rising emcee is making a name for himself across the industry with zero intention of slowing down. 
 Introduced to the culture and essence of true lyricism at an early age by his father, and influenced by timeless artists such as Jay-Z and Nas; he best describes his unique sound as "Aggressive soul - the best of both worlds". Encapsulating his lived experiences with raw grit and emotion, he hopes to impact the lives of his listeners in his community and around the globe. 
 In his debut album titled: What About Before?, Butler self reflects and reminisces on the past while using the recent passing of his father as inspiration. 11 tracks manifesting itself into the true life story of a son living out his father's dying wish; keeping his story alive.
