Growing up writing poetry, Qstiles always wanted to take his listeners on an adventure similar to how his idols legendary Mary J Blige and Musiq Soulchild did for him with their music. Whether it is his spacious instrumentals or his vulnerable croons, Qstiles aims to create music that everyone can vibe out to, from your grandmother to your lover. This is music you can ride out to on a late-night cruising through the city or sip some wine and make art in a commodious studio. 
 In 2020, QStiles released his debut EP Emotionless with standout tracks like “Wanted More” and “Trapped Inside.” If Emotionless served as an appetizer, then the debut album Soul Food delivers a full entrée. Qstiles surrenders himself on the album and invites listeners into his world. As more artists arise from the Louisville music scene, this one looks to create his own lane in the game with his neo-soul genre. The Homebase artist isn’t looking to stick to one sound as this is only the beginning of what’s to come from him in the future.
