MST is the solo project of Mattias Stynen, a Belgium based songwriter, music producer and audio engineer. As a multi-instrumentalist and gear collector, he is always looking for that unique sound that not only resonates through speakers, but also resonates with himself. "I feel like I should express and 'give' a part of myself in my art. MST started out as a fun side project that is all about experimenting with sounds. Everything starts from sonic experimentation inspired by a variety of musical influences. Being involved in a lot of mostly acoustic music besides MST, I feel like this is a way for me to leave my comfort zone and embrace electronic music, which in some ways really resonates with me.
