Joseph Peterson Mittau (aka Fidempa) was born and raised in Kenya( Mombasa and Nairobi). Fidempa hit the music scene around 2004 with a Mombasa-based dancehall group, "Ziggy Zaw," and performing with Redsan at Mamba Village. In 2008, Fidempa's music career expanded to Kampala, where he performed and made hit songs with known artists, such as Cindy Sanyu of Blue 3, Bebe Cool, Navio, Ay from Tanzania, Miss Triniti from Jamaica, and among others. After many years of life in Kampala, Fidempa came back home to Kenya, collaborated with Proff, and shared the same stage with Jamaica's leading group Morgan Heritage and Romain Virgo. He performed at the Kenyan reggae concert "Reggae in the Sun," in which he gave a masterpiece performance. Fidempa is currently based in Kenya and just released his new EP, "Kilah Vibes."
