An already established Spoken Word artist, Kaleb Israel Tha God had been creating the genre he has coined Speak-Hop (Spoken Word infused with Hip-Hop beats), waiting for the right time to introduce this unique sound to the mainstream. He began writing & performing Poetry early in life and became inspired by lyrical rap groups of the 1980s & 90s, such as De La Soul, Public Enemy, Eric B. & Rakim and A Tribe Called Quest, to put his thoughts and words to instrumentals. A self professed prodigy of Gil Scott-Heron. Born in Portsmouth Virginia, raised in a household full of music just as eclectic as his sound, ranging from Parliament Funkadelic to Fela Kuti . Now with over twenty years of live experience, "Tha God" continues to carry on his musical journey, artistically paving new paths. He strives to create “Innovative Music for Innovative Minds” while sharing his perspectives on the world in a unique and exhilarating way. His first album Brain Food has been touted as groundbreaking, now with his latest contribution entitled The Richard Cranium Album receiving high praise in the underground scene.
