Chicago raised contemporary R&B singer, Miette, was first recognized after going viral from YouTube covers in 2013. Growing up in the 90’s, Miette was heavily influenced by & studied artists such as Aaliyah, Destiny’s Child, Mariah Carey, India Arie, Monica, & Mary J. Blige to name a few. In 2015 Miette released her first single “Graveyard Shift”, a silky blend of hip-hop and R&B. Several Feature’s and Singles later, Miette released her first EP “Patience” in 2020, titled after her most popular single at the time. Miette’s music represent’s a fiery, no non-sense, liberated, self-made era of women who not only- don’t fit the mold, but refuse to.
