Moved to Arizona at the age of 8 in 2004. Joel debuted as Lobez at the age of 17 in 2013 with the release of his Corn on the Cob & Chicano Flavor mixtape while still attending Verrado High School. During his college years he went as Lowbz & released his 1st mixtape using samples Pro Phishhent Pro Vurrbz & It Doesn't Have to be Perfect EP. By 2016, again Joel changed his Artist name to Nroc Leoj which is his birth name spelled backwards & released Nineteen Ninety R.I.C.H & Evol, Evil (Live, Love ) LP... NROC was influenced by a variety of Music Genres, but mainly Hip-Hop. NROC creates positive Chicano Rap Music, writing songs in English & Spanish using Samples from old Vinyl Records & combining them with real instruments.
