Trained as a saxophonist and self-taught multi-instrumentalist, Edu Cabello has shown himself possessing an unique language, full of expressiveness, lyricism and originality, as well as being one of the young promises of spanish jazz. Since the release of his first album "Bucle" (2018) he has also recorded several albums as a sideman and coleader with projects like Maximilian Hering Group, Eddie Mejía Sextet, Kukundé Quintet, María Esteban Quintet and Ivan Ilic Balkanaizer. Cabello has recieved several awards through his career such as 2nd Prize at "Juventudes Musicales de España de Jazz" in 2020, 1st Prize at "Jazz Jove Valencia" 2019 or Best Chamber Music Interpretation at "Málaga Crea" 2016
