Short Story Collective connects composers and creators from around the world in order to inspire and create unique sonic blueprints and stories, for media and beyond. SSC debut, Chapter I to Chapter IV, is a collection of 4 albums of cinematic compositions, recorded with a live string ensemble in a remarkable theatre built in a cave in Matera, Italy. The composers from around the globe spent several weeks living together on a farm house at the outskirts of town, and recording with local musicians in this stunning, unforgettable environment. The composers in the collective come from various parts of the globe, Moscow, Rome, Copenhagen, Munich, Vienna, London, Auckland and Los Angeles, with headquarters in Venice, California.
