Sides of the Sun is the culmination of Vancouver-based Xander Karr and Austin Kubala’s decades of experience in the music industry. The project owns its name to the bliss of seeing the sunrise after experiencing music throughout a night, as well as reflecting the duo’s breathe of musical inspiration: from melodic and progressive house, to techno and club records. The duo had an explosive launch year in 2023, including multiple 100k+ streamed label releases, track support from artists like Deeper Purpose, and support show bookings for the likes of Odd Mob and Malaa.
