After nearly a 6-year hiatus from releasing music Nosaprise (aka Nosa Edebor) is dropping his new EP—Simba. Nosaprise has always been in a lane of his own in a city known for its diversity. A CMJ spotlight artist, Houston Press Music Award winner and multiple SXSW artist, Nosaprise has found himself sharing the stage with everyone from Wu Tang Clan to Pharcyde to Action Bronson. During his hiatus, Nosaprise has grown as a person and artist. Simba is the culmination of years of work – both internally and externally. Getting married, becoming a father, and venturing into a career in yoga gave him a new perspective to speak from. Simba is his first completely solo album—with beats and rhymes of his own creation.
