Asiabeat is jazz-rock musical project started by percussionist Lewis Pragasm and others in the late 1970s. They were based in SE Asia and feature a mix of western pop and jazz instruments and ethinic asian musical instruments. The group have released half a dozen albums and then Lewis added two solo driven projects to this catalogue. Lewis passed away in 2023.
