Marquise D. Marney AKA Quise Picasso was born May 29, 1984 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Quise was raised by a single mother and while growing up, times were hard on him. Quise grew up living from house to house trying to survive the best way he knew how. Around 1996, he began rapping, recording here and there, and winning numerous battle raps, but he wasn’t serious about it because “hustling” was the only thing on his mind. Eventually in 2001, his ways lead him into the hands of Law Enforcement and prison. After being incarcerated for 5 years, Quise started looking at life differently. He began to get more into his music, writing and challenging other talented artist to battle. In 2006, Quise returned home from prison ready, humble and more focused than ever. He began getting in contact with different producers and hitting the studio everyday, mostly to do features. After three years of recording, Quise released his first project entitled, “Goon City” The E.P. which dropped 9/11/09. The response from the public was great. Quise is now working on more projects on his label print Executive Board Music Group and has merged with another record label, Tri Entertainment LLC. Quise is more than ready, humbled and more focused than he was after his release from prison. Not only does he continue to record, but he is also a songwriter for other artist’s in the business. The future of Quise Picasso is very promising and his music will be refreshing to the music industry.
