Slimeball CaL is an American artist from Honea Path, South Carolina. From a young age CaL fell in love with music of all different sounds and cultures which ultimately led to him wanting to make his own. “I always remembered watching my mom sing at church, or in the car and it inspired me” he said, “growing up I would always be around different music so a lot of my music sense and fashion is inspired by a collective of artists and styles”. When asked his biggest inspirations CaL was quick to name off some big names such as Eminem, Kurt Cobain, Youngboy Never Broke Again, and many others. Although being inspired by others, CaL stated that his mother Janie was the biggest influence of all. “For as long as I can remember she’s been the one supporting me and all of my dreams” he said, “without her I wouldn’t be able to do what I do”. With tracks such as “chrømë!”, “girlz want girlz”, “bitch who”, “what i’ve become”, and many more Slimeball CaL has proven his versatility and ability to flow on any beat.
