The founding members of DMV based, Team Demo, have been making hip hop records together for over thirty years - first making noise in the mid 90s as the Lower Life Forms and Optical the Visionary before reintroducing themselves in 1998 as the self-produced group, Team Demolition. In addition to releasing two studio albums and multiple 12 inch singles as artists, the crew produced records for an extensive list of independent and major clients and in 2009, scored their first Gold certification for their production of 50 Cent’s, “Crime Wave.”   In the fifteen years since, Team Demo has continued to be a force within hip hop production; working with such artists as Sean Price, Illa Ghee, Kurious, Wais P, Sauce Money, Ras Kass, The Liks, Brand Nubian and dozens of others. The crew’s new compilation album entitled, “It’s a Demo,” features a mix of rising stars and legendary artists over the crew’s signature head nodding beats.
