Nathan Mac is ‘the boy who learned to fly’. Once upon a time, he ran away from the circus… & ever since, it’s music that’s been leading him back. This Swords-born, Cinematic-Pop artist is now using his songwriting & skills to make a dream of something new. Nathan’s music is brimming with a magic & emotion found only within his own little world, where he’s surrounded by an intimate family of artists, Studio Ghibli films, & a love for all things Irish folklore. With musical influences from Jon Bellion, Imogen Heap, & Hikaru Utada, he released his breakout album: ‘Start of Something Blue’. Its Wabi-Sabi sentiment celebrates romance, second chances, & the beauty in our breaks. Following through on these ideals, Nathan then wrote, produced & performed in the circus-musical film: ‘Learning Curve’: a unique love story, inspired by his own experience with injury, about the damage we take & how we choose to heal. Currently in development of his second series: ‘Pink Skies @ Night’, Nathan is digging deeper into his soul to pull out intense stories of loss & love.
