Dominik Urbaniak (Black Cat) is a 14 year old Australian Artist and Producer who expresses his lyricism through the genre of Hip-Hop/Rap. He is taking things one step at a time to fulfil his dreams of being a well known artist worldwide. He is the founder/owner of his record label “#CatGang Records”, officially established when he was 12 (2022). This independent label represents real, raw energy in the music signed to the label. He started producing music way back at around 9 years old, mixing samples together in Ableton. Taking it seriously, Dominik started to learn how to produce using FL Studio at 10 years old. After, he started distributing his music to Spotify, Apple Music, and many other major streaming services to get his music out there. He started out with making EDM and House tracks to later on perusing Rapping and producing beats, taking inspiration from industry producers like Metro Boomin, Wheezy, Tay Keith, Dr. Dre, Murda Beatz, Mustard and Pi’erre Bourne. Dominik grew up listening to big electronic music artists such as Marshmello, but whilst getting older started listening to rap, gaining a big influence from rap artists such as 2Pac, DMX, Roddy Ricch, Gunna, Lil Baby, etc. Fast forward to today, he has produced for other underground artists like him, such as Nyb Sage, Zafty, Xxkvngjayxx, Tkandz, Yung Gold, T1DA and many more. With the release of his debut album “DIFFERENT (Album)”, things are only going up for him.
