Caazi is a Hip Hop/ Alternative indie artist based out of southern Maine. He began his journey in the summer of 2019 dropping multiple rap singles on SoundCloud as well as his first-ever Ep. labeled "sacrifice". His early inspirations Included J. Cole, Mac Miller, Kid Cudi and Tylor the Creator, Caazi shot to be different in how he approached listeners ears. He's determined to put out a variety of different sounds from hard bass Trap to Lo-Fi melodies of the Indie rap scene. Starting to divulge deeper into the indie rock scene late 2022, he started a side project labeled Hidden Pond, where he aimed to create more tracks on the guitar. His creations portray both sides of light mellow vibes mixed with gritty darker vibes. His delivery challenges the static playing field that surrounds the music industry today. With his unpredictable flow schemes and compelling verses, Its nearly impossible to arrange him into just one category. In 2023 he played a number of shows including Manchester MA, Free street of Portland, Sacred Profane of Biddeford. Shows that ended merging multiple scenes and genres together creating a whimsical and inviting community of people. His dreams are to explore the indie rock scene further. Making more instrument driven songs with funky bass lines and unique drum patterns. Some current inspirations for his music include Jordan Ward, Smino and Tommy Richman.
