Clay’s Expedition is the artist/producer/guitarist alias of Francesco Pastore that aims to bridge the gap between the hard-hitting quality of trap, the smoothness and emotion of RnB with the attitude, style and sound of indie and indie rock. His beats he has made thus far have been compared to cloud rap and indie/slowcore bands, while also being described as unique and different from those styles.  Clay Ex is, foremost, two things: an attempt to add a spark to the powder keg that is the city of Tallahassee, FL - with all its diverse, growing yet very segment music scenes - and a stepping stone toward Pastore's greater goal to create a great and unique discography of albums. These will be featured under his official artist name that he has yet to establish as of 2024. He features a large variety of artists from Tallahassee on his releases.
