Born and raised in Worcester, MA, Leo NellZ began his musical journey at the age of 15. Growing up best-friends with New England superstar Joyner Lucas , NellZ was introduced to the recording scene very early. As kids they would battle rap other teens in/outside of school and spent their limited money on studio sessions through out the city. They eventually invested in home recording equipment and set up shop in NellZ’s basement. This is where it really began. After high school Leo attended The New England institute of Art for Audio Production and Media Technology. Today, Leo is the owner and lead audio engineer of New England based District 2 Studios. Leo NellZ is well known as a creative and skilled engineer but also a talented artist/songwriter. He prides himself in his creative punchlines and catchy melodies. He has the ability to draw you in with his charismatic personality and his catchy voice.
