Johnny James was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico and raised by his parents in San Fidel and Grants. He learned about music from his father and learned about life from living it. Making music since a teen, he’s crafted four solo albums, performed countless features and toured all over the Southwest including Denver, Austin, Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Los Angeles. He makes music for hustlers and grinders. Merciless Outlaws...people willing to get “grimey” about their goals. It’s hard-hitting hip hop with universal messages of achievement and determination. He’s a cross between Tech 9’s independent spirit, Nipsey Hussle’s ambitious entrepreneurism, and Scarface’s soulful reflection.
