MallDidIt, formerly known as "Mall Beatz" is an American music producer/artist hailing from Boston, MA. Discovering his passion for creating music at a young age of 6 years old, he taught himself how to play "Twinkle Little Star" on a toy keyboard. As a teen, his mother refused allowing him to listen to popular music that contained lewd lyrics. However, she let him indulge in instrumental mixtapes. Studying Hip-Hop and R&B instrumentals helped MallDidIt learn to structure beats, while noticing what sounds made certain tracks so gravitating and alluring. In 2009, he landed his first production with Shawty Lo's artist Jurrarri on "Yellow Diamonds". He then produced Waka Flocka Flame's "Everythang Green" which appeared on Salute or Shoot Me Vol. 2 and reappeared on Lebron Flocka James Pt. 2. MallDidIt then joined one of the most influential underground music groups "Ocean Gang" (founded by the legendary Cartier God) where he produced songs for members like Agoff, Yung Bang Bang, Yung God & more. Ocean Gang drastically shaped the sound of today's music. Lil Pump has admitted to being a fan at a young age before stardom. In 2012, Soulja Boy learned about MallDidIt's unique sound and immediately became infatuated with it, making his catchy tune "Molly" and 60+ tracks over the years.
