One of classical music’s most creative minds, Alice Sara Ott latest project is the album and major international tour of Echoes Of Life. The project sees Ott collaborate with an award-winning architect, visual artist and fashion designer, and marks her tenth album on Deutsche Grammophon, for whom she records exclusively.
Echoes Of Life is Ott’s personal musical reflection on life, built around Chopin’s Preludes op.28 and interspersed with seven works by the likes of Chilly Gonzales, Takemitsu, Arvo Pärt, Francesco Tristano and Ott herself. Her collaboration with architect Hakan Demirel results in an album-length digital video installation accompanying the recital, taking the audience on their own virtual journey and creating a wholly original concert experience. The project premiered at London’s Southbank in November 2021, followed by dates including Paris, Munich, Lucerne, plus a major Japanese tour. Echoes Of Life follows on from seminal albums such as Nightfall, Wonderland and The Chopin Project, taking her total number of album streams to over 150 million.
With her talent not limited to a global career as a high-level performing artist, Alice Sara Ott also expresses her creativity through design and brand partnerships beyond the borders of classical music. She was personally requested to design a line of high-end leather bags for JOST, has been global brand ambassador for Technics, and has collaborated with luxury brands Chaumet (part of LVMH group) and Wempe.
