Restive Plaggona is the alias of Dimitris Doukas (born 26 October 1992), an electronic music producer. Doukas is a particularly productive musician, having released more than a dozen records on labels such as Sacred Court, Noiztank, Fleisch Records, Thrènes, Yerevan Tapes, as well as his own Several Minor Promises. The Greek producer is known for his heavy and dramatic industrial soundscapes with subtle traces of darker forms of techno. Rhythmic intensity is of prime importance to his work, going together with the general rawness of his sonic palette. Apart from that, he is also behind Matriarchy Roots, a women’s rights focused noise project, as well as Leftina Osha, an ambient project that focuses on floating melancholic compositions with a picturesque cinematic feel.
