Brano Likić (born 23 January 1954, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina) is a composer, producer, and performer. He founded the band Rezonansa in 1975 and set up recording studio BLAP in 1978 where most of the music from Sarajevo in the 1980s and 1990s was recorded. Brano was already touring schools and performing solo at the age of 7, he first rose to national prominence in the 1970s and 80s as a singer and guitarist with the band Rezonansa. In 1975, the hit album Nemoj Meni propelled the band into a stellar career of travel, television and radio appearances, and a host of follow-up albums. In 1978, he set up recording studio and later launched his own production company, BLAP (Brano Likić Audio Production), along the way producing more than 500 music LP,CD's including many of Yugoslavia's most successful recording artists. Today, he is developing a wide range of projects in the fields of music, publishing and promotion, in cooperation with artists and other contributors from around the globe. He also continues to write and produce music and has founded a BLAP studio in Munich and Venice beach as well. His 2003 runaway hit "Man From the South" was just one more feather in the cap of this multi-talented impresario. Marko Brdarski
