A steady diet of grunge and nu-metal as a child then switched on a dime to rap and hip-hop into adolescence. Practicing guitar riffs at 14, it wasn’t till 19 when a college roommate hooked him up with a copy of FL Studio and off he went. YouTube tutorial wormholes & overheated CPUs be damned, Guillen became a guru behind the computer and started beat making and recording artists in the Boston area. Flash to today and a new love from old memories, genres such as cumbia & chicha are Guillen’s latest obsessions in a connection to his Peruvian roots.
