 Surya Tower was born and raised in Amsterdam the Netherlands. Surya’s roots are in Surinam and Guyana shes a proud west Indian. From a young age she started singing, she sang in a Gospel choir and developed her singing. 
 Growing up she was always listening to old school soca. “pump me up” was her all time favorite. When she grew older that’s when she developed a mayor love for dancehall music and culture. Surya spends most of her time in the studio. She keeps working hard and creating new music. 
 In 2022 she released her debut single “kak up” featuring dancehall artist Big shenn.
