Decontrolled is a modern metal band that originate from Belgrade, Serbia, started in the year of 2003 as a solo project of Marko Tica, a drummer from a band Apocalypse. After a few months, the project started to gain public attention in the homeland with a few demo recordings. End of 2005 brings a first solid lineup and by the end of 2008 first album "Self Portrait". After thi, band starts to play shows and begins their search for a record label. After playing Exit festival in Novi Sad, Serbia as a supporting act of THE 69 EYES and ROTTING CHRIST, headlining position on Neofest in Banja Luka, Bosnia, supporting IN FLAMES in Belgrade show in April 2009 and a numerous homeland shows, band sings with Mascom Automatic and Mr. Metal labels. Debut album "Self Portait" was officially released December 1st, 2008. Following year, band records a video for the track “Awakening pt 2”. In the end of 2009, the band has finished recording of the second album, titled "The Circle", which in 2010 on SMP label. One single came out from the album in video form: "Encrypted". After few shows band went on a indefinite break following internal inter-member turmoil and disagreement. Band was resurected in Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2017 by it's original founder Marko Tica with new line-up an new music perspective. Band's third album is currently is under going early production phase. Stay tuned.
