Atlanta based artist songwriter and producer, Baptiste identified his love for music as a child growing up in L.A. An alchemist of sound, Baptiste's introduction to music started playing standup bass and piano in grade school orchestra and shadowing as a guitar player (as he identified his preferred interest). Baptiste’s love for music became a part of his DNA. His family recollects him listening to the radio and blending his favorite hip hop songs over non-traditional beats. Baptiste attributes his musical palette to listening to music while he slept, he shares he could hear endings to respective songs in his dreams. His love for music grew larger with his relocation to Atlanta. The move expanded his ear for diverse music - encouraging a diverse sound that blended  elements of House, Neo-Soul, and Jazz, entering him into the niche house music genre. His maturity in sound highlights influences of NEO soul, pop, and electronic music. Inspired by producers like Disclosure, Toro Y Moi, and Major Lazer, Baptiste brilliantly blends versatility which is showcased as he tiptoes from slow indie rock to upbeat house samples. The levitation of sound allows for listeners to fall into an eclectic trance. Baptiste creates an experience for listeners by creating music that doesn’t just entertain, but curates an experience between your ears with sounds you can vibe to on the beach with a drink and relax, or dance from sunset to sunrise.
