David Forest is an American musician, songwriter, producer, and animal rights activist. After taking up guitar and piano at age four, he turned to electronic music to become a prolific producer and remixer. In summer 2003 David Forest first presented No Noise, his experimental Chill Ambient song at Joy Lounge in Ibiza. The following year, Forest launched his Chill Trip Mix of The Last of the Mohicans. But it was in 2010 that he succeeded with his version of In My Place, which was styled in a mix of Chill Out and Bossa Nova.
