Drawing from influences diverse as Killswitch Engage, Ne-Yo, and Yung Lean, he’s explored the chemistry of heavy yet emotional music for over a decade, with productions spanning metal, trap & wave, and singer-songwriter. Listeners will find pieces at home in both shadowy nightclubs and secluded cabins, unified around a common melodic foundation. — A New England native and guitarist by training, Mark cut his teeth releasing music as Then Tragedy Struck in the 2010s metal home recording scene before pausing to earn a degree in computer engineering. Following that, he participated in the wave music community from 2016-2020, notably winning second place in the 2019 vibe.digital music production competition and performing the first wave set at the esteemed Open Decks Brooklyn. In 2021, he began a second hiatus to join Ableton’s Berlin-based hardware division, where he was a member of the team that created Ableton Move. With that work ongoing, comfort returns to the creative world ready to craft experiences that resonate with listeners across genres and dimensions.
