Sci-fi kraut with a hint of bad cheese & cosmic horror. The three members of Death Tetra met through a mutual love of bad sci-fi, horror and various acts of poorly performed occultism. The sound of D.T. is a concoction of synthpop, krautrock & psychedelic gothic. Some opinions on debut single ”The Kar”: ”With a healthy dose of sci-fi synths, The Kar could give you the creepy-crawlies if it wasn´t so damn catchy” (Surviving the Golden Age). ”Weird gothic-punk electro trip…brings a Zoolander kind of vibe to the world” (We Love Lo-Fi). Death Tetra denies rumors of an affiliation with legendary no-fi band Äckliga Ögon. A debut album is expected in early 2020 through Phono Inbox records.
