In 2018 Ricky released "The Illness and the Cure" this project touches touchy subjects and Ricky does not hold back or tiptoe in taking his stance. This is a project you will either love or hate. Ricky then went on to release "Hell Wide Open" a more personal project giving insight to the artist family life, struggles and vulnerable side. This project has a collaboration of different producers including Ricky Rx, Goliath, T-Gasce Beats and Darius Wesley who produced the single "Letter to My Uncle Tom". This soulful single would lead to Ricky teaming back up with Darius Wesley to create " Time Traveler" the first EP ever recorded by the artist. Darius Wesley was responsible for all but one track on the Time Traveler project. That one track was "I Go to Work" produced by Ricky Rx. Ricky Rx then released two previously recorded LP's "11 Months in A Year" recorded in 2014 and "The Lost Book of H.E.R.U" recorded in 2015. Ricky Rx has two other LP's that were never released. In 2001 Ricky Rx under the name Desperado recorded his first project "Tryna Get Paid". Then in 2009 he recorded his first LP with Darius Wesley while still working under the name Desperado titled "Habenero". The year is now 2021 and Ricky Rx is back in the studio and so is Desperado. Expect five releases this year. Four EP's "Desperado Stories Vol 1-4" and one LP "The Return of Desperado". Not to mention the first single from "Desperado Stories Vol 1" "LEGEND" available 03/02/2021
